Chopard just launched 3 new Day of the Dead watches to mark the Mexican holiday

Following last year’s highly successful Full Strike LUC “Día De Los Muertos” minute repeater, Chopard is launching a second model in black 18-carat white gold. Similar to the original, this year's edition subtly translates the visible elements of the movement into the graphic portion of the Calavera skull on the dial. Inside, you’ll find Chopard’s award-winning LUC Calibre 08.01-L Minute Repeater, this time with black hammers to complement the monochromatic aesthetic of this particular model.
Chopard is launching a bold and colourful 25-piece limited edition in its second release called the LUC Skull One Calavera Pop Art. The third entry in the LUC Skull One collection is Pop Art-inspired, depicting the iconic Calavera skull, presented in countless bright shades. This playful and eye-catching dial contrasts with the black sandblasted, DLC-coated stainless steel case. Last but not least, Chopard will present a one-of-a-kind timepiece at the TimeForArt charity auction in December. The LUC Quattro Spirit 25 TimeForArt Edition showcases the watchmaker's jumping hour mechanism in a vanitas-inspired design. Coinciding with the Day of the Dead, vanitas art aims to convey the futility of life, the futility of joy and the certainty of death. To create an original watch that truly embodies these themes, Chopard used hand-engraving techniques to create a stylized skull for the dial. In contrast, this model is housed in a warm 18-karat rose gold case and houses the brand's LUC 98.06-L jumping-hour movement.

Patek Philippe presents the new Ref 5811, the icing on the cake for its iconic Nautilus online replica watches.
